I'm excited for my girls and what they achieved at this meet. It was truly phenomenal to watch their performance.

It is a challenge to keep them motivated, but they motivate themselves. We just approach it that everybody that swims brings out the best in each other.

There is not one person who leads this group but they stick together. Outside the pool they might not be in the same social group, but the minute they walk into this pool, they're there for each other. You see in the relay races how they bring out the best of each other.

The Kingsford guys deserve credit for a fine performance picking up their first-ever U.P. title, but I'm also incredibly proud of my guys for making it a much closer meet than it should have been. Our guys performed well beyond what I could have hoped for.

We had outstanding swim from some of our senior girls. Emily Edwards had career-best times in the 50 fly and 100 breaststroke and Kim O'Neill did the same in the 200 IM and 50 free.

All I do is put a plan together. They do everything they can to be the best they can be. i can't do that for them.

We've had four years of dedication from the seniors and four years of solid work ethic. They have success because of the dedication and the tradition of success brings people in.

This year we have a phenomenal team.
