Elton (Flatley) has been playing really well so I didn't really know whether I'd be playing there.

My move to five-eighth has probably come out of more bad fortune for Steve (Larkham) while Dan has been playing flyhalf for the Crusaders all year.

They've never been far off the pace and I want to be there when their luck changes and it all starts to take shape because it will be a very exciting time in the club's history.

You want to play in every Test and you want to start in every Test. That's probably the first thing. Whether I play 10 or 12 it doesn't matter to me.

I do get asked a lot, but no one believes me I think.

Hopefully I'll make the (Test) team and if John doesn't like this, I guess I'll walk around wearing my headgear all the time.

A lot of people say it is cliche, that I don't mind where I play. But it's true. I do enjoy playing inside centre and I like the responsibility of flyhalf.

Every time I have [played against France], I have played inside centre. But still, because he is the main ball player, you still obviously study him and watch him a lot.

I haven't played a great deal against him.
