It was good for all of us to get back together, and we played well. We knew we would struggle some early after being off for more than a week, but our guys played with emotion and passion.
Tonight we saw our entire school come together. Our kids showed a lot of character, and you know it is tough with what we have been through in the last week.
When we fell down I knew it was going to take a lot of energy for us to comeback against a great team like that. We came up a little short in the fourth quarter and that's what I feared.
The closeness our students have helped us to pick each other up. It's more than just basketball, but everyone has been there to help out.
We've just to have to work on balancing it out with the teams that aren't in the Top 10. These guys show up for big games, but we've got to show up regardless of who our opponent is.
We just really played a good game. I'm proud of our guys for responding to the challenge.
They're a little more resilient than I am. I'm still kind of hurting a little bit, but I think we've learned from it.
We were trying to use our quickness against their size. We were able to get a lot of easy baskets and that was the key tonight.
We started cold, but we found our rhythm in the second quarter. Their size caused us some problems, but our press got us some easy baskets off turnovers.
