I am very proud of what we have achieved together; getting Andy into the top 50 and winning his first ATP title at the age of 18. I have no doubt that Andy will make the top 10 and be a Grand Slam winner in the future and wish him every success.

It's difficult to say because it sounds like you're knocking the press but he likes being away from it all. He likes to be away at a tournament and not have to deal with too much of the other stuff.

Look, he plays Davis Cup for Britain, but he's Scottish. He's Scottish first and British second, and there shouldn't be any misunderstanding about that.

At the moment he's still at the mercy of the draw because he's not getting seeded. There aren't any easy draws at these tournaments - you are playing quality players. If you don't have your A game all the time you are going to come up a little bit short.
