It's a frustrating loss. We played two Class C teams on the road this week and found ways to lose them.

We led 45-42 and stole the ball, but put up an ill-advised shot. They came down and hit a three to tie it. Then we got fouled and missed the front end of a one-and-one and they hit a bucket for the lead. After that, we didn't get a shot off.

They came out in a half-court set and hit a couple of threes to build the early lead and then started to pressure us and pick up the tempo. That sort of worked to our advantage. We like to push the ball up the court. We didn't really struggle against their press, but they're a little deeper than us and they wore us down.

We only had two points for most of the first quarter. We struggled to score and played catch-up.

We were still up by 55-46 heading into the fourth quarter, but things didn't go our way.

It was a great game. It was a shame to lose. We led for 28 of the 32 minutes, but in the end we turned the ball over and didn't get the shots we wanted.

Kyle Carver really stepped up for us, too. He had a great all-around game, handling the ball, scoring. He missed the first four games and is really coming along now.

We caught them in the third quarter and had a four-point lead (40-36) going into the fourth. From there we sort of traded baskets with them.

Jamin had a very good game.
