They did a good job taking their time. They had four or five guys who were able to handle the ball better than I thought they could. If you can mix and match lineups to beat a press, it makes a big difference.
Osage had a very tough week with three quality opponents. We are disappointed we didn't win all three, but the kids had great effort.
Charles City played a great game against Osage Tuesday. We played much better Friday and hope to play even better as the season goes on.
I told the kids at halftime that it's get after it on defense or our season is ending.

We are super proud of our players and their efforts. We will need to have a good week of practice this week to prepare for play against an excellent team from Fort Dodge.
Osage had a very tough game against Lake Mills. Lake Mills has a very good team and is very well coached.
Our kids did a tremendous job in coming through down the stretch. Both teams could have won the game. It was an excellent high school basketball game.
