Overall, I thought our pitching was outstanding and we hit the ball hard against two very different pitchers — one fast, the other slow. I was happy to get a lot of kids in the games today.

I have a lot of veterans on this club and we know that they're going to perform; the key to our team is the younger kids and getting them to step up and perform when the time comes. Right now, it seems like everybody that I put in has performed.

It's a long trip and I'm satisfied. We're capable of playing better, but Forks is certainly a much-improved team. I want to give them a little bit of credit.
