Alton did a good job of working hard to try and keep us out. We were getting around corners in the box. There were very close chances but it seemed like it was never enough to get that ball to go in.

We had some decent ones. It seemed like the ball never happened to get in the right position for us to have a chance.

It's a tough part about the sport of soccer. You can really possess it a lot and do a lot of things right but you have to score goals.

I don't like to lose, but it's very encouraging to see how well we played in the second half. A couple of touches here or there and were even with a very good soccer team.

We came out and were able to knock the ball around fairly effectively, which is always nice. We were able to come up with some really great chances on goal, and finished some of them.

You know that it's always going to be a tough, interesting game when these two teams meet.

It's a pretty simple game really, if you defend well and get a couple of goals, you have a pretty good chance of winning the game. We did both of those today pretty well. This was an uplifting game for us. Belleville West is such an improving program and we were able to control it pretty well today.

John Day does a great job in the first half to keep us in it. There's got to be six or seven opportunities they get and he comes up big on saves.

If you don't score for a couple of games, it really begins to prey on your confidence. All of the sudden you're wondering if you are ever going to score again. And if you don't score, you don't win, it's as simple as that.
