"Luol Ajou Deng" is a British professional basketball player who currently plays for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He has also played for the Great Britain national basketball team. A member of the Chicago Bulls from 2004 until 2014, Deng was selected for his first NBA All-Star game during the 2011–12 season. Born in what is now South Sudan, Deng fled the country with his family as a child, moving to Egypt and then the United Kingdom, becoming a British citizen in 2006.

We were struggling in the first quarter then our defense picked it up. In the second quarter we started running and getting baskets in transition.

I just twisted it a little and got hit on it. I could have played. I'm fine. We just made the decision not to play.

A lot of players take some time off, so I feel like when I was injured that was my time off. I think I'm [close to] 100 percent. My hand will keep getting stronger. I'm on right path to recovery. I just have to keep doing what I have to do.

I really don't know. Everybody sees me and thinks I grew. I still feel like I'm 6-8. Maybe I grew a half-inch.

It's a big possibility. My freshman and sophomore years of high school, I felt that [Connecticut] was the school I was going to.
