Out of all the forwards he's the one the boys have the most respect for.

You see a hole in the defense, and you can go right, go left. You can go around them, or you can run over them.

Any backline would love to be playing behind them. We've got players like Peter Wenner, who would be lock or dummy half anywhere else, playing in the centres.

They're going to be great — big and mostly experienced. I can't say enough about the linemen.

He's been there and done it (NRL first grade with Souths). He's had a great year for us. He came back to help out. Even the experienced first graders like Brad McManus, who has five or six seasons in first grade, look up to Pete. We've got a great pack with Wes Coe, Brock plus Mark Macauley and Aaron Mitchell.

There's a lot riding on our shoulders.

They are the best pack I've played with.

They know we've got big boys and when you have bigger players you're going to struggle a bit with fitness.

They can say what they like.
