I am excited about the impact I pray it has. I hope it is helpful and reveals the unnecessary suffering that goes on with the mentally ill, a broken and under funded system and the stigma that goes along with being mentally ill. I hope it helps people be less sensitive.

It has been a challenging experience to go back, and the type of challenge is different for everyone I take there. Some people I interview are off guard by how disturbing it really is, and some are ready to say goodbye. Some have a profound hunger to go back. My impression is that it is a healing experience, and the audience, through the filming, is healed by the reaction to going there.
