[Silverstein] inspires me to do funny things as well, ... can write things for kids that are genuinely funny.

It's increased sales of my book probably at least three-fold, maybe more.

(My wife and I) were both still in bed, ... They called at seven o'clock, and we were very excited. I have a daughter -- she's 12. I woke her up and told her the news. She said, 'Can I tell people?' I said, 'Sure.'

The greatest award is doing something you're proud of.

I've always enjoyed his work.
