I have a pet in Europe! She may not be transportable, but it's still kind of cool.

Last year I had a lot of top-three results, but we didn't really get any prizes, just money, so this is really awesome. She's a little ornery, but she's cool.

That's the thing I'm worried about.

It's sweet. I've changed my equipment. I'm not surprised because I grew up skiing slalom. I just fell off the map for a while because of the speed races. It's always good to add another disciple you can do well at.

I'll have plenty of time this afternoon to train [for slalom].

I thought it went really well. It was a pretty open course. There were not so many turns and it was not so steep. That made it pretty tight.

It's like his upper body is detached from his lower body. His upper body is just crazy. It's all over the map. But what his lower body does is incredible. He's always going straight down the fall line. It's by far the straightest line I've ever seen.

The conditions here were tough and it was really difficult to do well. But I have had a good feeling in downhill.

She put me under her wing when I came onto the team. I met her when I was nine years old, and she gave me the motivation and kind of the goal to be in the Olympics and win an Olympic gold medal.
