If they were getting good feedback from the state, I thought they would continue down that path.

It only took a minute for it all to go down. It had to all be done outside the building, away from the meeting as quick as it went down.

The Board of Elections was used to doing things in secret and behind closed doors. Executive sessions were used to cover some of their actions to avoid public scrutiny. Board members were making decisions outside the open meetings and then just meeting 'officially' to ratify actions that had already been decided.

I accomplished everything I wanted to do in life and still was left with an unfulfilled part of me.

There also were times before and after board meetings when I would see them out in the hall. They're allowed to do that. I can't say they can't socialize, but I could only speculate with the turmoil going on on the board they weren't just out there talking about the weather.
