I sincerely ask the president, have you heard people's view? What is it that prevents you from coming out? ... Don't hide in your house.

I want to meet China's leaders and start a dialogue with them on the most important issues in cross-Straits relations ... peace, and economic and cultural exchanges.

This is something that our people will welcome because we want to avoid confrontation across the Taiwan Strait and our people would like to see dialogue and reconciliation and cooperation.

We need to restore the people's confidence in the party to win the year-end elections. We need to be prepared to govern again.

Our two parties were enemies in the past. Everyone knows this history. But history is in the past. We can't change it. But the future is in our hands and offers many opportunities.

Northeast China was occupied by the Japanese invaders for 14 years and my hometown Taiwan was even under the control of the Japanese for 50 years. These are the great shame of our nationality.

It is time we proceed even further with this reformist endeavor ... we have to continue our combat against the underworld and money politics.

Get elected. Get elected, ... stay with the party forever.

The moment we've waited for has finally arrived.
