The doctor has told him there is a healing process that is going to take place over the next four to 16, 17, 18 weeks. Nobody knows how long it'll be. ... What happens over the next 16-20 weeks, nobody knows.

We've met twice and kind of got some ideas on players, staff and training camp. We're just going through a process to give us some thoughts and some ideas from each other and see where we end up with this.

He's a guy in the Elite League who's been able to produce numbers. We'll see what training camp is like for him. You're always looking for that little extra piece in a trade and take a chance on somebody. We'll see what he can do.

Ron is a coach who has had success at all levels during his coaching career and his record speaks for itself. We have always been impressed with his professionalism and the astute level of preparation he brings to the coaching position.

I don't think there are many teams that have added a free agent like that. We want him and he wants to get back to the way he played three years ago. And I think that's one of the main reasons he felt to let Al keep the captaincy, and that the best thing he could do for the team is getting back to playing the way he can.
