I'm going on the road recruiting.

I can't sweat in them, because I only have a few.

Throwing is one issue, but covering bases and getting his running back is a big point of concern. It was already starting to swell by the time I got to him (on the field), and putting him on an airplane didn't do him any favors.

Given our situation and the number of guys we need - and I know we've already got a couple of commitments - I'm guessing it's going to be the end of May before we have our roster ready.

Everything is intact. We have to give it a few days so it doesn't get dirty or infected. It could be a week or so. We have to let it heal up, but we anticipate a week.

I'm looking forward to working with one of the best young coaches in the country. He made me a very attractive offer. He values what I bring to the table and wants to build a national championship program. In that conference, you have a chance to do that.

I just want to at least have something left out of my check every week.

Mick and I share the same philosophy - don't leave any stones unturned - and that's serving us well in our situation.
