It's interesting to have been on the one side a chaplain, intern in the prison system and now fighting to keep people out of prison.

It's heavy, but also it's sort of the philosophy of Hospice that it's not about death. It's about life. When you're able to confront the realities of death, you're able to live life as long as you can.

I think that's part of the calling God has given me -- that if you're willing and faithful to do the work God will give you the strength and guidance needed.
