I'm happy being involved like I am, ... I have no hidden agendas. I'm coaching and doing what I love to do.

It doesn't matter what you look like. You still have to play well to win games, ... But I think it will be a constant reminder to us of what happened at BYU in the past and how to get back to it.

It can absolutely drive you crazy, ... But it's just the way he is. In 29 years [of marriage], he hasn't changed. I think there is a part of me that has to know that he is not going to change. He thinks it through.

He just wanted me to be careful and not make a decision off of a reaction and emotion or resentment or anything, ... but to make a logical, good decision.

We've got a lot of work to do. Especially offensively. We looked great going down the field and then shot ourselves in the foot several times in a row and then we're three-and-out and done.

My gosh, he looks great.

They're flat out good. It's tough to compare individuals but I wouldn't hesitate to compare them favorably to any group I've seen. As a group, all four guys, they're as good as we've ever had.

The first emotion you feel is disappointment, ... That doesn't stay for too long. I don't think it stayed as long as people would expect. It was fast and fleeting.

Some guys, when they get into coaching they're just dying to be a head coach, ... I was not as much that way as some guys are, because I like the coaching part. Every time I see a head coach, as they become a head coach, they become more of an administrator and CEO and less of a head coach.
