I was happy with how the kids came out in the second half. They really stepped up and weren't afraid of the contact, and they went up strong with the ball.

With the way we were playing, I felt I needed to reinforce that just a little stronger during that timeout.

We were a little flat early on. I thought we got our legs under us in the second half, and were able to build the lead as the game went on.

She knows that that's her role. I think she's accepted it. I think she's accepted whatever role we've put her in. She's just a kid that goes hard every time she steps on the floor. Finishing her free throws is part of that.

We're not able to capitalize on our momentum. When we do have it, we lose it immediately.

We spotted them a good 10 (points) in the first quarter. We played a real nice second quarter, defensively. Unfortunately, we didn't duplicate that defensive effort the rest of the ballgame.

We would like to cut down on the strikeouts, but that will come through facing live pitching. We just didn't put the ball in play when we needed to.

Unfortunately, we've struggled as of late with consistency. I think we look at the scoreboard, we see we've tied or taken the lead and we relax. The last three games it has cost us.

That's the way it always is. We're a very balanced ball club and a very even ball club.
