If he gets past that kid, there is a good chance he goes all the way to the final. He wrestled a good match. The kid was just got the better of the overtime.

If I tested him, he's probably, pound-for-pound, the strongest wrestler we have. He's able to make that leap. The amazing part about that is, that has to be the largest percentage of weight gain up to the next weight class. That's a nine-pound jump . . . you're talking about eight percent of his weight. That's a pretty good leap.

He's a healthy 103-pounder now. That gives him a huge advantage over some of the other 103-pounders who are kind of small.

Anything can happen when you get to this point in the season. It appears he has a pretty good draw. I have a lot of confidence in his ability.

I would definitely say he was not over-confident. He has a lot of confidence, but over-confidence is not something he has.

It was a great learning experience for him. To be there in that atmosphere and wrestle against the best kids in the state is only going to benefit him in the long run. He is an amazing wrestling who had a great year. Hopefully, this motivates him to work even harder next season.

He wasn't the stereotypical wrestler who cut down on weight lifting and modified his diet. He ate what he wanted to, and worked out tremendously every day.

Competing in this event is going to raise his confidence level. He got to see what he needs to do to get past some of the best talent in the state. There are no easy matches once you get here.

If he had had some more time on the clock, I think he would have taken him down. The kid was crafty and did a nice job. Tommy had him in a headlock, but time expired before he could put him on his hip and toss him.
