The primary reason I did it is because the university, in my opinion, has been under a lot of pressure by the people who are responsible for this. If giving up those two days, which costs me about $650, (allays) concerns that I'm wasting taxpayer dollars, then I'll gladly give it up.

I regret that I sent an e-mail or made a phone call here and there because the effect of that has been used for political purposes and has become a distraction for this university.
