The autopsy has been performed. There are some other things we're waiting on.

The defendant's version versus what we believe may be at odds, so I'm not going to discuss specifically how the child was killed. But we certainly have every indication that child's life was taken by this particular dad.

This restructure plan, hopefully, is not an effort to simply save money. Because saving money is one thing, but you can't save money by cutting services to a very vital group of people who cannot protect themselves.

This was a good break for our community and the ability to reach further beyond our community -- and where this stuff was going and where it was coming from -- is obviously something we're all interested in in law enforcement.

The general public has no idea the volume of child protective cases [we get] in a month's time.

The investigation is still continuing. We believe this child met its death from a traumatic experience.

I'm not sure who messed that up. Obviously we're very fortunate to have been able to actually be pointed in the direction of child pornography. So, if UPS gets the credit, so be it.

It causes [case workers] to be less efficient, it causes them to be not as thorough, and it places children at risk.
