We got a few breaks early in the game that we were able to take advantage of. Defensively I thought we did a great job.

We should be better than that. Our free-throw percentage is usually way above that.

It's also nice to play teams we normally wouldn't get a chance to see. It's an excellent tournament.

What I thought I would do is leave the windows open all night and let it get down to about 15 degrees for game time -- make it really cold in the gym. But with all the people that will be here it will be too warm and that probably won't work, either.

Brittany makes a little bit of a difference when she's on the floor. She's a heck of a player. Not only is she a great offensive player, but her defense has really come around.

We came out and played well, distributed the basketball and got everyone involved. That was a huge key for us. Defensively, we did a nice job on helping out on Albers in the first half. She is a big strong girl, and I thought we did a nice job of helping on her.

Gammon came in and hit a huge 3-point shot and got us a steal and Parker had a huge night on the boards. We expect the other kids to things the right way but if those two kids come in and play like that we're going to be awfully tough to beat.
