"Catherine "Kate" Bush", Order of the British Empire/CBE is an English singer-songwriter, musician and record producer, who is known for her eclecticism in music/eclectic musical style and her Idiosyncrasy/idiosyncratic soprano vocal performances.

In 1978, at the age of 19, Bush topped the UK Singles Chart for four weeks with her debut single, "Wuthering Heights (song)/Wuthering Heights", becoming the first woman to have a UK number one with a self-written song. She has since released ten albums, three of which topped the UK Albums Chart. She has had 25 UK Top 40 hit singles, including the Top 10 hits "Wuthering Heights (song)/Wuthering Heights", "The Man with the Child in His Eyes", "Babooshka (song)/Babooshka", "Running Up That Hill" (as well as its Running Up That Hill#2012 remix/2012 remix), "Don't Give Up (Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush song)/Don't Give Up" (a duet with Peter Gabriel), and "King of the Mountain (song)/King of the Mountain".
