Pharmacists in the state of Vermont deserve our gratitude. They've extended their faith, good will and free medicine. But we can't continue to depend upon their good will and faith.

We're staffed to deal with thousands of calls, as long as they don't all come at the same time.

The details are still sketchy.

The federal government hasn't made any progress in figuring out the problem.

We're bringing up a phenomenal amount of resources. If those resources are overwhelmed, we'll switch back.

We've taken all the known problems and solved them. We know for these 25,000 that they've been correctly assigned to a prescription drug plan.

We will not flip the switch until we receive some information that gives us comfort we will not be putting Vermonters in jeopardy.

If it was catastrophic, we would know by now. I'm very happy. It is working.
