Hopefully we can finish up strong. I guess every chance I have to help the team this weekend, I will take it.

The first game was better than the second game, I was excited to be back. The important thing was to try to keep it simple, try to work hard when I was out there and try to keep the shifts short. Overall it was all right, and I'm looking to improve now.

There's a tradition in politics of asking young people for their votes and time without asking people for their opinions and ideas.

So I signed on, of course.

It is simply too unsafe to let any of our keiki ride in the back of pickup trucks. We have to protect them. It breaks my heart to see teenagers in the ER after accidents like the one we experienced this past weekend in Kona.

We have to be upbeat and intense. We have to defend very well in the half-court, keep up the ball pressure, and make sure we help each other out on defense.

If you write a post and put it on a blog, that's a historical document. If you change your template, then that entry looks completely different. It's the same words, but not the same meaning. This all depends on what historical questions that people will be asking and we can't know what they will want.

I've heard a lot worse in my time at Yale. I guess that one's an honor.

Web standards keep you out of the dustbin of history.

Being a manager really prepared me well; I got to know the guys. You see the game from the coaches' eyes, not just the players' eyes.

It's nice. I didn't really like riding the bus.

I didn't expect to continue my playing career after high school. I chose Yale because it was a great school academically and I didn't regret it.

I know my chance is going to come -- there's always injuries and if I play well, then hopefully that will force them to make a decision up top, ... I'm disappointed, but in a good way. I'm happy to be here and happy to help this team. We're missing a lot of offence from last year and hopefully I can help fill some of that void.

I can get a feel for what it is actually like. It takes a lot patience.

Obviously you're disappointed when you get sent down, but I've been sent down before, ... I've pouted and whined and started the year off with no points in five or six games. That's the wrong thing to do. I've got to come out here and lead by example. If the younger guys see me moping around, then they're going to do the same.

I have big dreams. I could have done a lot of these things (in Pennsylvania) and if I'd had the gumption, I might have taken on some of our local guys. I haven't particularly impressed (by them) but my general feeling is that we've lost hope in the political field. Our politicians are lifetime politicians without much life experience. They talk the talk but their kids aren't fighting in this war.
