I was hunting (for a hotel chain) which continually changes and upgrades its standards as the industry changes. We won't use the Days Inn name until we're finished (with the renovations). But we're about two-thirds of the way through.

The hotel is too big to fill it all with overnighters. We will lease out part of it.

It really means with a name like Days Inn we will have a much better chance of bringing in business from the outside. It will also help with reservations, training and marketing. Marketing is the No. 1 issue to get the name out. Days Inn has a reputation.

The building is solid; the (prior) management was bad. The problem with the building from the outside is it's dated. People look at it and think is in bad shape (inside). All the outside will be re-done.
