He played college football for the University of Utah and was recognized as a consensus All-American. I played with him a year at Utah; he was a right tackle and I was a left tackle my senior year. I knew him real well; he's a real good guy. It was sad to hear about it. Obviously no one expected it. When it happens to a real good person, it makes you pretty upset.
