It was a shock to me, just like everybody else.

We are playing similar to how we did then. We're running the ball well and our defense is playing great.

He was in good shape. He was always able to run and do what he needed to do. I don't think that was as much of an issue. I'm interested to see what happened. I think it must have been genetic.

He was always singing.

We haven't really had any game where we've just exploded in the running attack.

I sat there and kind of watched it over and over to see if they had any information.

We need to be able to protect and get the passes off to make them back off.

It seemed like every time we got a penalty, it was on a big gain. That makes it more frustrating. We get down to first-and-10 at the 11, and end up first-and-20. There are just things like that that will kill you. ... Those penalties are hard to overcome.

I played with him a year at Utah; he was a right tackle and I was a left tackle my senior year. I knew him real well; he's a real good guy. It was sad to hear about it. Obviously no one expected it. When it happens to a real good person, it makes you pretty upset.
