For us, silence is an active catalyst for inspiration. It inspires us to make a racket.

We do a lot with a little. We also have composed modern classical music for orchestras, so that helps us understand how to voice and temper our uses of instruments.

It was cool because we were improvising, and it was nice that we had the film to tell us where to go.

We're touring nine to 14 weeks a year and are starting to fill theaters that hold up to 2,000 people. So we are actually paying bills with this - not all our bills, you know, but at least the essential ones. We're not entirely in the dark.

By now, we're heavily scoring and writing harmonically interesting parts that we play every night and try to perfect timing-wise. It's an awesome challenge.
