When you've been through what I've been through, you're never really over the hump. It's always a case of having to monitor yourself. But I can honestly say that I'm feeling really well and looking forward to next season. For us, it's just about here.

If you could give yourself one new present in the new year, I would say buy a new set of dishes and make the salad plates your main plates. Dinner plates are so large we just fill them up. We simply eat too much of everything.

The easiest thing to do is to go back to eating as you did before the holidays, then add in a little physical activity.

We get really hung up on the details of diet. Like how much protein should I eat, how much of this should I eat. It's the clutter that blocks the basic message. Eat smaller portions. Eat in moderation.
