We've got some athletes who can make plays. Denzel Gayden had an outstanding ballgame. Denzel flip flopped from defensive end to linebacker. Along with Ennis Sullivan and Chris Drummer, those three guys are seniors and guys that we'll depend on to lead us on defense.

We had a great turnout tonight. I appreciate our fans and I know our players appreciate our fans, as well as Neville. I think it's a great turnout and this is the kind of crowd that you're going to see come district time.

I hope we can get them lined up today and get everything ready to go.

That was the biggest concern going in. I didn't get caught up — nobody did — in the classification deal. They're good at what they do. They're big up front and they try to control the clock — they were able to do that and score points.

As good as we played last week (in a jamboree against Neville) on the defensive side and on special teams, it was the complete opposite this week.

When you make a mistake, just smile and go on. Don't be afraid.

You mostly come to these things to support other musicians.

The thing I'm most proud of tonight is our defensive play. I thought our defensive guys came out and played with some intensity and enthusiasm.

Those 20 points, we (the offense) really put the defense in that situation. I was really pleased with the defense. Our coaches had a great gameplan, and the guys played hard.
