It's always been there for Melissa. She's always taken a back seat, not wanting to get involved. She's had great practices. I told her she had to step up. They were in a triangle. We can't have Ryan and Rayne handle and run an offense.

We had a heck of a first half. We were down eight, came back and took the lead at the half. At halftime I told them, 'They're going to come back. They're a quality team.' But we kind of went through the motions. We didn't push the ball. Was it anything they were doing? No. They weren't pressing us. We were content walking the ball up.

We accomplished what we came here to do due to great senior leadership.

Rayne and Ryan, four straight district titles. Heck of an accomplishment.

It's quite evident we have been a two-man team all year long. We've been able to fool a lot of people. When you go against a team the caliber of Lansdale Catholic, other kids have to be willing to step up. Rayne and Ryan can't carry this team. As much as they'd like to, it's impossible to.

We honestly felt we could beat them this year. I don't know if the way we finished the first half hurt us. Maybe we thought it would be easy. We just did not come to play in the fourth quarter.

Regan Mooney stepped up big time for us in the first half with 12 points while Ryan and Rayne were struggling. Ball handling, rebounds. That was a very big help. Usually when Ryan and Rayne struggle, no one steps up. She took it upon herself. And Mary Kate Brady hit the boards, scored 10 points. That's what has to happen. The other kids have to step up.

Mentally, our girls weren't there. We were a step behind defensively and offensively we were in a panic. We made bad panic passes. But give Spring-Ford credit. They caused those things. We didn't react as individuals.

We've got another game to play through. We have to prepare for that one.
