I'm not going to let the city get by with anything. They have blown a lot of smoke in the last few years, saying we need to do something for the youth of the area. They will probably laugh at me and tell me to go home.

The mayor told the petitioners we won't come back on the north side. He was trying to smooth the waters and spoke too soon, and got into a jam.
