It was a pretty good weekend for us. Getting our first conference win was important. Especially missing one of our starters, that was a big boost of confidence for us.

It's hard not to be concerned about the way we're playing. I don't think we're playing our best tennis.

I think they understood how hard they have to battle all the time. Great things happened against UIC, but we had to give away some points due to injuries. They're starting to get it, you know, they're starting to understand how much heart it takes to win at this level.

We couldn't close it out. We took the lead, but we couldn't make the most of that opportunity, and came out on the short end.

I was pleased with the way a lot of our players performed.

We've been working toward getting everybody healthy in practice. They showed a lot of heart out there today. It was an all-around effort.

We didn't really play doubles the way we know how. We were out there just hitting balls at certain points, not really trying to utilize our strategy. We need to learn to stick with what is working in a match until the opposition proves that those methods aren't working. That's something we really need to get after in practice.

The win over Cincinnati was huge for us. We were missing one of our starters, so everyone had to step it up. They did the job on Saturday.

It's tough when you're trying to compete as best you can, but then certain players can't practice everyday because of various wrist or elbow injuries.
