She is the Figure skating at the 2010 Winter Olympics/2010 Olympic bronze medalist, the 2009 World Figure Skating Championships/World silver medalist, the 2008 and 2009 Four Continents Championships/Four Continents silver medalist, the 2004 Grand Prix Final/Grand Prix Final bronze medalist, and a six-time (2005–10) Canadian Figure Skating Championships/Canadian national champion.

It's great to have big goals. It's a source of motivation.
I am very happy to do my personal best. This is great for my confidence.
It was a very weird happening. But it feels good that I had so many friends from my home town here to spend my birthday with me. It was the biggest birthday party I've ever had.
The Olympics helped me a lot. A lot of people didn't know me before and they know me now.
Maybe I haven't hit my best, yet. If this was good, I know I'm capable of more. The worlds are coming up in another month.
It wasn't my best. I was a bit more nervous this year coming in as the reigning champion, but I'm happy I was able to deal with it.
