We vote on a president in January, and I guarantee you there will be a change. Back in law school they used to tell us, 'If you don't have the facts, argue the law; and if you don't have the law, argue the facts; and if you don't have either one, you play the race card.' This has nothing to do with race.

A lot of our bad employees won't come back. A lot of our bad citizens won't come back. This can be a turning point ... we can change the whole face of this city if we do it correctly.

We would love to pay everybody what they deserve, but we don't have the money or the students. It's like any other business: If you're out of business, you don't continue to pay . . . employees.

If you do that, you keep the pool of available money that can be stolen small enough so that it's not really worth going to jail for. I'm very realistic.
