We are asking the kids to take more responsibility for conditioning and strength this year. Last year we didn't have the maturity and this year we will be older and smarter.

We haven't been hitting all year long and I don't know why right now. That has to change.

We lost a lot of close games and we hope to turn those close games into wins this year.

At the varsity and JV level, we have a lot of talent and I am very happy about it.

It looks like Alfonso Carrillo will start in the outfield and Dane Houser, a transfer from Marist, will also start.

The pitching prospects really look good and I am very excited about that.

He is young, will make some young mistakes but has all the tools to do an outstanding job and I am really excited about him, also.

It is frustrating from a coaches' point of view and there is a reason they are losing. You give signs out there and they say they don't see them. No one is going to give us a game, they are going to have to earn it.

Missed opportunities. We had our chances and we didn't execute. We didn't play well today. We missed a lot of signs and the kids took themselves out of a lot of innings. We need to play a complete game and we haven't done that.
