This is an equity issue, and we feel it is only fair for all counties to receive the benefits of gaming. We're pleased to be working with Representative Barrows and other legislators on this important piece of legislation. Our bill?like others?asks for the legislature to let the people of Kentucky decide on this important issue by a constitutional amendment. The bill calls for designated revenue for education, healthcare, local government, veterans, the environment, the horse industry, and more.

The message is clear: voters want a chance to have input on the issue.

We do not want to see Kentucky become another Las Vegas. That's not our plan at all. What we intend to do is to try to keep gaming where it is presently conducted and allow those racetracks to be competitive by expanding their menu.
