"James Stuart "Jim" Gilmore III" is an American Politics of the United States/politician who was the List of Governors of Virginia/68th Governor of Virginia from 1998 to 2002. He is a member of the Republican Party (United States)/Republican Party.

A native Virginian, Gilmore received a Bachelor's of Arts and a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia, and then served in the U.S. Army as a Military Intelligence Corps (United States Army)/counterintelligence agent. He later was elected to public office as a county prosecutor, as the Attorney General of Virginia, and as Governor of Virginia.

Don Beyer was elected with Governor Wilder, he served with Governor Wilder, Governor Wilder had a chance to assess his performance in office, and nevertheless he did not endorse Don Beyer, so I think this is a major blow to the Don Beyer campaign.
