He mixed his pitches well. He's probably got a fastball better than we've seen this year.

We didn't force them into any turnovers. They did a marvelous job of handling the ball. I have to give Warner Robins all the credit in the world. They were marvelously prepared.

I think we were excited about playing, and the challenge of facing South-Doyle -- a very good team. Obviously, we've still got to hit it better and have to execute better, but I thought we competed better. It's like we're one of this, or one of that away.

We got stale but battled back and got into it in the fifth.

We have to go and play them down there Friday and I'm sure they are going to remember. I'm sure it's going to be an exciting time over at Lenoir City for that game.

We're just not hitting the ball right now. I don't know if it was his pitching or us not hitting. Guys told me after the game they felt like they should have had more hits.

He's done well when he had the opportunity, and I think he's earned a couple more opportunities. It's good to know that we got somebody over there that is patient and was a big part of us winning tonight.

Whether that sparked our hitting, I don't know, but we needed a spark.

I don't want that play to be the main thing. We got some great hitting lately, good pitching all the way through; let's not make a big issue out of that one play.
