The relay was a tough loss but the team responded well. We had some strong performances in our individual events today and just missed with some of our divers. Tomorrow will be another day to just toughen up and get it done.

The championship is where I expect her to do her best swims. She's gotten more consistent time-wise this year, but that doesn't matter. If she gets to the end and does the same thing she's been doing all year, she'll be upset.

Since it's outdoors the times aren't going to be that impressive, but the races will be. Our goal for this weekend is just to go and race well.

This is the place I love, and it's where I want to be. I'd like to make it my home, but there are only two jobs here, so it's kind of tough. But there's so much loyalty and pride, and I've enjoyed my time here.

When I came into the room after the announcement, everyone was a little busted up. We spend so much time working with them. When something like that comes up, it's pretty tough to handle.
