I'm excited, I think we showed some character tonight and I'm excited to see this team play their first semifinal game.
One thing they say about coaching is that losing is your best teaching tool. I've learned through a couple of tough losses. Losing has kind of been a blessing for me.
It was a great basketball atmosphere. It was a real scrappy ball game, but we hung in there and got the baskets when we needed to. Defense wins games in Tri-Districts.

We think we got an OK draw going into the first round. We'll be playing the team with the third-worst record going into the tournament. Not that record means a whole lot, but for the boys it looks a whole lot better than playing a 24-2 team.

You probably credit their defense for that. They were well prepared and they did a good job of frustrating our guys.
