It was a great weekend. Anytime you can beat two top-25 teams on the road, you know you've had success. There are still some things to work on, but this is not the finished product. The best thing is we got results when we didn't feel we played our best.

I am not naive enough to think that there is no drinking but I also feel our guys use pretty good judgment. When you start making rules like zero tolerance, zero drinking . . . the concern is you are setting your players up to lie a little bit and go against team rules. As a coach, you want to have your players be honest with you.

Because of the heat and the humidity, we had to get some guys more minutes. So there were players that couldn't go the whole game.

Rankings really mean nothing at this point. It's going to be a good barometer of where we are early in the season.

I'm real happy with how the season is going. I can't ask for much more.

It's exciting. Penn State's traditionally one of the best programs in the country. It'll be a good game.

People can question what they want, but Jeff finds a way to score goals regardless of who he is playing. Whoever gets him will be really happy. He always finds a way to succeed. He didn't start out getting things handed to him, but he sure found his way.

People who are participating in athletics at UNM know they are in the public eye and they know they are held to a higher standard. I think athletes are aware of that and aware of the consequences.

It was a disappointing game for us tonight. We were getting opportunities and, as many times as we put the ball in the box, we should score. Maybe this puts us back down to earth and gets us refocused.
