What was amazing to me is that when we started the overtimes, both teams just started making play after play.

They beat us in every statistic possible in the first half, and we were only down three. We showed an incredible amount of toughness in the second half. I couldn't be more proud of these guys.

The Eastern game was such an emotional one that to come out of it and come over to play at Ballard in the next game is tough. I'm proud of these kids. They just let it roll off their shoulder, play hard and get the win.

You could watch 500 high school games and not see that. It makes up for not being in the same district for 10 years.

I thought we attacked the glass hard in the second half, and that was the difference. We relaxed a little bit (after Beckham went to the bench with four fouls and Ballard trailing 49-31). We made a few mistakes, but every time we made up for those mistakes.

I told them in the third overtime that we were already making history, so let's make sure we come out on top.

Every time we did something wrong, we made up for it. Doss is a very good team, and they forced us into some mistakes. But before anybody could get back down the floor we were doing something good to get it back.

We took control early, but we maintained control against a very good team. and that's what excites me.

Oh, wow. All you can say is, 'Wow.' It was like a circus, but a fun circus to watch.
