I thought he had a fantastic season. …Probably the two quietest records that have been broken this year is him breaking the season passing record and tying the touchdown record.

I feel fortunate to get a job at a place where you've got a chance to contend.

We've had to do absolutely nothing to the race car.

A year ago he was just trying to play and not make mistakes. This year you've seen not just his improvement on the football field but in the other intangible things also.

His durability and his toughness are second to none. He's proved that he'll play with courage and sacrifice his body, which he's done.

He's been there and done that. He won some big games, he lost some tough games. He made some big plays, he missed some plays.

Can't be sure. Players are human. It's got to bother you, just like it would bother anybody else. We just try to address it early so it won't be a distraction.

I was not going to go just anywhere. The stability of the program appealed to me. Dan is the dean of the Big 12 coaches and has done a great job retaining his coaching staff despite all the success ISU has experienced.

You see him in the huddle really challenging the guys on the short yardage situations, the third downs, and you see him go up and down the sidelines on the offensive side, encouraging when we need to be encouraged.
