Our best option (to win) was in doubles. Traditionally, our strength is our depth. We can usually hang with people at the top of the ladder, but our overall our doubles players probably have a .750-.800 winning percentage.

We got what we wanted to out of today. We wanted the season to continue to mean something and now it does.

It's tough to start 0-4 (in singles matches) and come back to win five straight matches. That's a big hole to come out of.

That was one of the best serves I've ever seen in a high school match. Andrew has developed a tremendous serve. ... He just reared back and hit it as hard as he could to the far corner. Nobody came close to getting to it.

This was the best match we've ever played. I've been doing this seven years, and this is one of the most exciting matches I've been a part of.

Overall, I'm pretty pleased. Colfax is a perennial power, but we hung in there. Those were some competitive matches, so I'm pretty optimistic about our chances (the rest of the season).

Those were both good efforts. They both got down, then they decided they weren't going to mess around anymore and just turned it on.
