"Jay Davis" is an American actor, stand-up comedian and comedy promoter/producer who garnered nationwide attention after appearing in Dane Cook's Tourgasm, a 30-day cross-country-tour-turned-reality-show which also included Cook, Gary Gulman and Robert Kelly (comedian)/Robert Kelly, and was given an 8-episode run on HBO.

Davis began performing comedy at an early age, and went to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment. After some film and television roles, he began hosting shows and doing a regular stand-up routine at Dublin's, an Irish pub formerly in Hollywood. It was there that he met Cook, when the comedian came in to join the recurring lineup. When the venue closed, Davis toured solo for a while.

Dubbed as "the nice guy," during the TV series, Davis was given an occasional hard time by his friends. Kelly, in particular, yelled at him, while Cook and Gulman often played practical jokes (although Cook would later impart advice and act as a comedy mentor). The show also documented Davis' efforts at developing new stand-up material (the "TLC Killer" joke, in particular).

The formations force the defense to have to show more and do some things, which kind of give us an alert to say, 'Hey, this may not be there,' ... So you can get through your progression quicker.

It's always tough coming back after a loss, trying to regroup and refocus. But I think we've done a real good job at it. We've moved on. We've put it behind us. We've focused on the penalties this week by focusing on technique. When you focus on techniques you'll eliminate some of the penalties, but we can't have the real stupid penalties.

I think it was just kind of a last-minute decision each and every week.

This is what we've been seeing from Toney in practice. He has strong legs and really quick hips and stuff like that. You guys saw it tonight. He's going to be a great player.

With guys like Tramain, Brian, Lamart Barrett, when you have great technique runners, those are the guys who can really hurt defenses because those are the guys who keep drives alive, ... Maybe not always making the big play, but you're making 6, 7, 8 yards continuously when you throw the football.

We came out fast and Toney Baker really got us going.

It kind of got sloppy after that. We lost our focus and we did some things that if we do in the future, it's going to hurt us.

We came out fast and played very well. Toney Baker got us going with a couple of key runs down there.

It was little dinks and dinks and dinks, and then take the [deep] shots when you have them, ... If you watch Rich Gannon, he'd dink you to death. That forces everybody to come up [on defense]. When you start getting the safeties up, that's when you take a shot.
