We don't want to put all the pressure on him, but you know what? If we have to go to the air, he certainly has the poise and the confidence to do it.

We went through some growing pains last season and we learned from them.

He helped take away the fullback trap. Which was South's big play in the preseason.

You can see he has his father's bloodlines. He understands the game well, his mechanics are there and he's a quick learner. But he's only a freshman and we've told him that we're not asking him to put every game on his shoulders. It's not all on one guy.

They are a much improved team. The kids play hard and we'd better come ready to play.
