"Jared Francisco Borgetti Echavarría" is a retired Mexican people/Mexican Association football/footballer.

Borgetti is the all-time leading goal scorer for the Mexico national football team/Selección de fútbol de México (Mexico national team), with 46 goals. A prolific goal scorer at club and national levels, Borgetti was renowned for his heading ability. He is popularly known by the nickname of El Zorro del Desierto ("The Desert Fox") in reference to his debut professional team and his birthplace. We know it will be of secondary importance to Brazil-Argentina, but we'll be approaching it with the seriousness it deserves.
